Hi. I’m Kate,

Growing up on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia I was drawn to the ocean from a young age, learning to surf at 10 years old.

By day, I work as a Forensic Investigator for the South Australia Police where I specialise in Fire Cause Investigation. Painting is an important creative outlet, helping me to unwind and relax from what can be an extremely confronting occupation.

Having sold a large number of paintings within Australia and Internationally in my breakout year of 2025, my paintings have been described as “joyful”, able to “brighten any room” and “like a holiday”.

My paintings represent the things I love most - summer, beach days, holidays, time spent with friends and family. I try to capture that essence on the canvas so people can feel the joy of those things every day!

I am currently based in Brighton, SA where I paint from my home studio.
